Mr. Gaffigan, huge fan here! Some of my first and greatest comedy memories are listening through your albums with my dad during long car rides

My question: Your comedy is famously very family-friendly and palatable for large audiences. Was this an intentional choice as a way to widen your fanbase/ticket sales? Is there a moral reason you don’t swear/use vulgarity/“push the envelope” as much as the other big names in comedy? Or is that simply your personality?

This is the exact reason why it was fucking laughable that AMA Mods would reach out their poor hungry hands for crowdfunding and sponsorship when they have shit like this happen. I hate seeing sponsored posts of linked AMAs, where the company only wants softball qs and self-addressed praise

I met my SO through Slowly, and having over 100k words between each other before we even saw each others' faces was really the perfect way to meet someone IMO -- falling in love with the mind and heart before how they look and so on

It seems there is a very fine line between the comedian appealing to the audience and the jokes themselves; a distinction that seems to pigeonhole a lot of comics into being a "race/gender/lifestyle comic"

I would do shameful things for a spiritual sequel to The Knick -- the story largely ended well regardless narratively, but I'd love more of that world at that quality
