As an occupational therapist working in Neuro Rehabilitation, I'm curious to know what your exposure to therapy services are in the hospital and what you see in their role in treating patients in the hospital setting.

And also, have you ever ordered PTOT before? Or did you figure out that OT and PT are different services? :)

I think it makes the assumption that anyone in a potential end of life situation will have pain or suffering and that it's better to sign an AND/DNR than to live through that.

I've seen countless stories of patients who should have been vegetables or dead and have come back to have meaningful lives, even if it wasn't the full life they had prior to their injury.
