Can you please give us more information as to why you are doing this AMA? Was it a bad experience? I heard of these “wilderness programs” before but mostly about them being horrible experiences filled with abuse. Just googling “troubled teen industry” made me curious. Hope you’re ok now that you’re out.

Thanks for your response and for speaking out. I wish we could figure out a better way to rehabilitate teens and people who are suffering but without harsh conditions. With all of the available and helpful therapies out there and methods of connecting to nature, I am devastated folks like yourself are going through these terrible conditions. I think maybe someone like you can turn this industry upside down and maybe do some good in the future through their own work!
