What do you think of the discrepancy between PSLF (10 year forgiveness) and the income based 30 year forgiveness schemes? I don't begrudge the 10 year forgiveness but it seems more designed for Doctors, PhDs who work for Not For Profits and NGOs. And they can then join a for-profit corporation 10 years later with a large rise in income. Whereas if you get an graduate degree and cannot find a position in a qualified not-for profit, you end up working for 30 years where interest payments out pace your income based repayment.

Do you have any non-STEM individuals in your group? Overvaluing STEM and undervaluing the humanities is what leads to a technological dystopia. Do you think you might be contributing to economic inequality by putting STEM on a pedestal?
