its important to understand he teaches at an international school. this is not a chinese school and probably doesnt have many chinese students. its mostly going to be rich kids whos parents work in china.

honestly i think its because shortly after the war china cut themselves off from the rest of the world. there wasnt anyone to talk about it on the world stage.
