What was the biggest factor in your decision to leave? Was it the hyper-inflation, crime, politics, etc?

Politically speaking, what was the craziest/scariest thing that happened?

I remember seeing in the course that we often mis-predict how good or bad something will be (like, we think getting a C will be super super awful, but it ends up just being meh instead). How does the research account for the stereotypical teenager, who may really feel like so-and-so not liking them, or a bad grade in bio, is the end of the world? (I'm thinking both of my high school self and some of my friends in asking this!) Are they just outliers? Not as much literature on their age group? Something else?
