Oh don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing pubs whatsoever. From what I have seen, I would prefer the typical British pub experience over all the college bars downtown that dominate my city.

I firmly believe that intelligent life exists out there, but it seems almost mathematically impossible for intelligent life to have visited our plant. Assuming our theory of FTL travel being impossible is correct, there's just too much distance in the universe for any life to have ever gotten to us.
