I don't agree with this 100 percent. Are there people who watch this type of coverage to see people suffer? Yes, but that isn't a reason to get rid of the coverage. I live in Edgewater NJ and my town got fucked up by Sandy. When I escaped to my friends house who didn't lose power my eyes were glued to the tv. I wanted to know which areas were getting hit, I wanted to make sure my friends living in those areas are safe. I wonder about their summer houses and everything. I'm curious how Chris Christie and President are responding to the whole entire shit show. I generally think the population is good and not evil. It shows were people can donate supplies. etc etc.
EDIT GLEWED TO GLUED.
Edit Converge to coverage
Edit I love how people can criticize how I made a summer house comment, but not one person asked if I'm ok living in a town that sandy hit hard (I know others are worse and I'm fine, I just find it interesting).
