What are some of the most interesting / unusual / unexpected subreddits that you discovered in your research?

I can't understand why teaching very young babies to read (using systems like Baby Can Read) are not extermely popular. They are easy to follow, do not require special tools, and are extremely effective. I think kids can/should be expected to read at 3, not at 8
