Yeah, those are film cans. They can hold anywhere from 1 to 8 reels, and the projectionist would take them and tape the film together to make one large movie that could be put on a platter and plaid at the theatre. Each reel is about 10 min of film.

The movies used to have 2 projectors with reel a on projector a and reel b on projector b. When reel a ran out they would switch from projector a to projector b and then put reel c on projector a.

I had a friend who was a child actress who was in a commercial that was used for many, many years after they filmed it. After the initial pay they got a check for some paltry amount for every time it was aired. I think they waited for it to be an at least a 30 dollar check before they would send it out, but this was over 20 years ago and I don't remember the details.

And If anyone is interested it was a Bagel Bites commercial.

I ordered from UBER Eats late at night from Jack in the Box. When it came about an hour later than originally stated it was 1/3 of my order, and what was there had stuff I am allergic to on it even though I ordered it all without that stuff. When I asked the delivery driver why all my stuff wasn't there he said "Well you know that place just has a bunch of Mexicans working there and they always mess up orders".

I called UBER Eats and complained, at first they would only refund part of my order, then after some more bitching they said they would refund the cost of the items, but not the delivery fee. After getting moved up a supervisor or two they told me they would refund everything, but only in UBER Eats credits. And they wouldn't budge from there.

I did a charge back, deleted my UBER Eats app and started just always having some food to make grilled cheese or quesadillas at home for those late night munchies.

What happens when the meter alerts you to gas being present? How do you make the space safe to then go into?

I think I am going to show people that GIF when I tell them I have Crohn's. That is amazing.
