Any tips on where to find expected salary information for different companies? You can find some information on Glassdoor and occasionally you will see companies list a range in their job postings. It would suck to look for a new job and find out that you'd be taking a pay cut (not that pay is the only reason to take a new job).
Also, before anyone says it: I'm aware that cost of living can affect salary ranges for positions in different geographical areas.

I'm somewhat interested in the technical side of things. I've always wondered: how do new products get 'added' to CamelCamelCamel? Does it happen when a user searches for the product, or do you crawl Amazon's site?
Same question for product updates: how do you detect price changes? I'm assuming you either check periodically for known products or check whenever a product is searched.
Thanks!

Can you elaborate a bit more about your backup process and infrastructure? Do you do manual backups and then manually relocate the backed-up drives to another location? Do you remotely connect and backup to another device that is owned by a trusted friend/family member? Or do you use cloud storage?
I was recently discussing this with a friend who was exploring cloud storage options for his backups, but I don't know how I feel about putting my data in the hands of a large company. I feel like their redundancy and security capabilities are better than I could accomplish on my own, but they also seem like a much larger target.
Thank you!
