I'm an engineer at SpaceX. Would you ever consider making the one way trip to Mars?

Absolutely, especially if I was the first person to go. Being the first person on a new PLANET would put you up there with the great explorers. Now if I was the 2nd person to go to Mars I would definitely at least want my family or a return ticket.
