You’re not poor. There’s a difference between being poor and being broke. Having a lifeline (which I assume you take advantage of liberally) is not the same as actual poverty. You can be broke, but for you it’s a CHOICE. Consent makes all the difference.

Maybe start there with gratitude. Look in the mirror, look at yourself honestly & not the character you’re LARPing as, & be thankful for the reality of your situation.

Right...so in 3 years time you never received assistance from family & friends. That’s the LARP , my guy. Your whole “ah shucks I’m just a simple poet starving out here and I did it all myself” routine. You literally subsist on donations that you beg for, quite a few I would assume come from family & friends. No part of that equation is supporting yourself.
