Why did it take so long for WHO and other international organizations to respond on the ground? From what I know, Doctors Without Borders has been there for a while, but said in late June they were stretched to the breaking point and up until then were the only group on the ground. I keep wondering if the African Union or UN responded immediately (not just with money), the outbreak would not have been nearly as big. Please correct any wrong info.
Thanks and stay safe.

WHO announced $100 million in emergency funding so hopefully that will bring in the necessary resources and personnel to squash this for good.
Thanks for the answer, looking forward to more of your reports.

That makes sense, I understand why you feel that way. The problem I see with asking this is, well, what do expect them to say? Most people will probably have the same answer: fact of war and probably didn't feel that good. Right? I don't mean to assume, but it just seems to be an unnecessary question. Correct me if you feel differently.
