Were you to make another game like Verdun and Tannenberg, but it couldn't be based in WW1 or 2, what time period would you base it on? Do you see another game coming from M2H that isn't based on one of the World Wars? For example, the Napoleonic Wars which put into use muskets and baker rifles? I think it would be really interesting for players to experience the conditions that soldiers use to work in!

It sounds really interesting! I like the idea of an open world space adventure, with maybe ideas to customize you ship (assuming there is one) completely freely, taking inspiration from games like Space Engineer (only for the ship building part). I think that maybe you could have each part of the quest on different planets, and on each one side-quests personalised that that planet. For example, a pirate haven planet that has a main quests to reach out for help, but maybe 1-2 different side-quests that could earn in-game currency (used for character and ship personalisation). There could also be mercenaries that you could hire to help with each mission. Assuming that the game is entirely single-player, I think that you should be able to earn bots to help you fight throughout the main and side quests, but the player should have free choice over whether or not to use them. As a gamer, imo it isn't fun to be forced to play with AI. If you have any more on depth thoughts about the game, I would love to hear them!

I think I agree with you. I think that you should release the main story in chapters, kinda like Hitman, and that with each chapter you release a bit more of the open world so that the players have something to do while the next chapters are in development. This would be valuable time as the player would be able to earn money to upgrade their ships (functionally and cosmetically) so that when the next chapter is released they will be able to progress as they, and have had time to change their ship. I think that spreading it out into chapters will also help with hype and a good but not infuriating ending to each chapter will allow players to try and guess what will be coming.

Edit: I too would gladly play £10 for each chapter to help an indie company grow
