Heyyy I just took care of an OI patient the other day (as an anesthetist). Anything you think anesthesia providers should know about caring for OI patients besides the standard textbook stuff?

Just to piggyback on what u/nazrada said, there are also vascular/valvular issues that can occur, because vessels can be more elastic. Typically patients with EDS will have more frequent cardiac/vascular workup (like ultrasounds) to monitor for these potential complications.
