I don‘t know how they did it but they got done with the surgery after around 4/5h.

Duct tape instead of sutures?

Did they use steri-strips (basically thin strips of really strong tape) to hold the incision closed? If so, lighter fluid will take the tape residue off. I had steri-strips after a collarbone surgery and neither soap not rubbing alcohol would remove it.

An assault rifle is a select-fire (capable of firing multiple shots with one trigger pull) rifle that fires an intermediate caliber (a round that is in between pistol and hunting rifle rounds).

Assault weapon is a term created by the gun control advocates. It has no set definition, but is used to refer to firearms with "military features". What is boils down to, is that they use that term to describe scary looking guns like the AR-15 that are actually just normal, semi-automatic (one round fire per trigger pull) rifle that look like what the military uses.
