What do you think your country will be like when you grow up?

Do you think quality of life will return to what it originally was (or more) within the foreseeable future? From news reports here in the UK I get the sense that the infrastructure of the country has been brought to its knees by the fighting.

My dad was the manager of a bearing company for specialist windows for 17 years, so any questions I have I've probably asked already. I went to the factory when I was about 12 and was amazed at the scale of the operation.

Have you experienced much variation in the scale of bearing manufacturing?
