I have loved Japanese culture, geography, language, etc. for years and it's a goal of mine to go there some day, but as a dude who also digs dudes, I'm curious how your experience there went. It's difficult to tell how other countries (I am American) react to openly gay people - There are some websites that list safe-travel countries and whatnot, but I think hearing directly from someone who's been there would tell a lot more.
Do you have any thoughts on this? Or was it a total non-issue when you were there?
