In all seriousness, do you think it is effective?

I'm interested in effective alturism. The idea that you could do a lot more good if you got a regular job or started a company and donated your income instead.

Mind you, nothing stopping you do that after your travels!

Easier goal or not, go for it.

It all moves us in the right direction.

Maybe, but whatever our government dreams up instead will be 100 times worse. The new censorship rules mean we can't even get reddit without verifying our age and who we are.

And actually the new UK legislation was held back by EU rules. It would have been(will be) worse when we leave.

But hey, it's what we wanted!

I see a lot of people moan about the young being snowflakes. This seems unfair but what can I say in return?

I was looking at UK suicide rates and they seem to have fallen. Youth rates have gone up but are no historic high.

Why is this a crisis relative to historical issues?

I'm pro mental health support, because... why wouldn't we lend a hand to people in need. But what makes this a "crisis"?
