Genuine feedback. I only got bent of shape because it came right after you'd just cracked down on VPN's. Yeah I get you had to do it, but right after doing is not the time to put the price up. The two together was what caused me to cancel.

I do wish there was more support for and providers gave options for closed captioning vs subtitles. I'm not hard of hearing but like to use subtitles for dialogue, but obviously a deaf person needs full captioning. The frustrating thing is on a technical level it could all be provided from a single full source (so no duplication) but with descriptions of sounds being tagged so the player knows not to display that line if just subtitles are selected, or to display everything is captioning is selected.

But then that said the QI DVD's that came out in 2017 don't even have subtitles so maybe that's too much to ask :/

Why is you like your 'heavy watchers'? You said that the price you pay for content is based on the anticipated number of views. Heavy watches therefore increase this number (applicable when you come to renew content and actual view numbers can seen) and there cost you more for content. And of course they cost you more bandwidth. Surely your 'best' customer is one who continues to subscribe, but rarely watches anything?

Obviously the solution is convince your content providers that the very idea of regional restrictions is old fashioned and signing deals for content to be available worldwide to begin with. The very fact that bypassing the regional restrictions became so widespread should be a clue to the content providers....

I don't get how people don't think about a phrase they are using and how it makes sense. Fair enough 'caboodle' isn't commonly known, but 'kit' certainly makes sense in context. What on earth has kitten go to do with anything?
