To what degree do you feel like the information we receive here in the west is false or dramatized? Or is it less than the real situation over there?

I currently serv in the military and first of all thank you for setting the standard sir, what major differences do you see in the modern soldier vs soldiers of your day? Also how do you think those differences account for things like higher suicide rate and PTSD?

What coping mechanisms did you lean on in such a situation? Im curious being in the army and seeing the different methods soldiers use in "hellish" situations.
