You almost certainly did commit crimes. Contacting the creators under the pretense of asking for review titles with the intention of selling the keys is Fraud. Selling those keys when you almost certainly signed or accepted the keys under the agreement to not redistribute was violating a contract (civil case so not criminal) and if you sold keys to customers under the guise of legit keys, it’s fraud again. Just because in your mind the only victim was a corporation doesn’t mean it wasn’t a crime. Edit: added in an “almost”. Whether this would amount to a criminal charge of fraud or simply be a civil tort may depend on the country of origin of OP and/or the companies he engaged with. Some commenters seem to think I’m passing judgement when I’m simply pointing out a fact where I believe OP is mistaken.

Is it weird that seeing your phrase "cat boarding" made me think of a cat-based water boarding technique? Like, "give us the information or we pour more cats on your head!" Also, where can I sign up for getting myself cat boarded?

Just a note: it’s important to realize/remember that the label “Mennonite” covers a FAR wider group of people than the label “Amish”. There are plenty of conservative Mennonite communities but there are many Mennonite sects that are fairly liberal. I was raised Mennonite (non-believer now) but the different churches my family attended were at the heart of major cities, had female pastors, used modern technology, and had several college professors and scientists as members. These are the mennonites who are highly involved in lobbying the government for human rights issues such as open borders, anti-war, anti-police violence, more care for the homeless, equal access to healthcare, and more aid to developing nations. Shoot, the mennonites prioritize education so much they even operate multiple liberal art colleges.

However, while the Mennonite church likely has the same cover up issues that literally all churches have, any anabaptist church or community who focus on enforcing separation between their members and the rest of society will likely have a stronger problem with all forms of abuse without the victims having resources. I’m not convinced forcing mandated reporter training is going to be the solution (it can easily cause weird side effects in practice), but I applaud efforts to make sure those children have equal access to assistance.

I’m just hoping we don’t paint the mennonites in the same broad brush that can reinforce stereotypes that many mennonites do not represent.

With one exception, the top questions appear to be authentic. Have you actually used bar keepers friend? Seriously, no other cleaner compares. I’m not exaggerating that my stainless steel cookware looks almost brand new despite being over ten years old and used constantly.

Top question is right, though. The packaging sucks hard. They really, really need to include a way to close the container that’s air tight.

Well, you say that it’s due to low democratic turnout but Aderholt has never received less than 70% in the last twenty years. He received 235,925 votes in the last election. With a population of 683k, let’s do the math. If 50% of the remaining population were all eligible to vote, and they all showed up to vote for you and no one else new showed up to vote for Aderholt, Aderholt would still win. Obviously this is a mid year and all that so there’s many issues at play. I think the comment is more focusing on having realistic expectations and seeking funding appropriately. That said, I don’t think any candidate should run unopposed as that means they don’t have to ever explain themselves, which reduces oversight. Democrats in your district should spend their money in donations to you to force Aderholt to explain his position and legislative choices for scrutiny by his district. But at least we can’t really blame the Democratic Party for wanting to send resources to where a swing of 5% only will make the difference as opposed to a swing of 35%.
