I have one major contention with your modus operandi. You said you would intentionally find people on the opposing side of an issue/topic if only one side is being represented. There's a major problem with that: Equal time and equal coverage is NOT always fair.
A prime example of this is the Evolution/Creationist debate. Should we be giving equal coverage or listening to as many critics of evolution as we are listening to experts? No. There is a matter of fact at the heart of the debate, and there is one side deliberately spreading disinformation. The very last thing any news station should be doing is showing that these two viewpoints are equally credible by attempting to allow each side to have equal coverage.
I was wondering what your thoughts on this are.
