If you ran into the actor who played Santa in the "They do exist!" commercial (first aired in '96, still being run seasonally, I think) would you feel a sense of brotherhood or competition?

I was Immortan Joe for Halloween and bought some of that stuff so I could personally escort people through the gates of Valhalla, shiny and chrome - it BURNS like crazy and tastes awful.

Huge Superman fan here. I've had such an interesting relationship with 'Superman Returns'. When it came out I hated it for the simple reason that I thought it was as far as a studio could reasonably get away from making a proper Superman movie. It had a lot of the right ingredients, but I was just unhappy with the result and was sad that it may be my generation's only Superman movie.

Then 'Man of Steel' happened.

I'm not here to debate or discuss MoS. If you liked it then great. I didn't at all, and I've since said that it took 'Man of Steel' for me to appreciate 'Superman Returns'. MoS, in my mind, didn't even try to be a good Superman movie; it tried to change Superman by taking away many of the essential qualities his character possesses - I dare say it wasn't even truly a Superman movie at all.

Now when I look back at 'Superman Returns' I understand it much, much better. Yeah, there's still many things about it that I don't like, but the parts it got right it got very right and I can watch it now and at least see my beloved hero on screen being the bright beacon of hope and self-sacrifice that he's meant to be. Brandon nailed the powerful calm that Superman exudes and really captured the essence of the character who has been my hero for as long as I can remember.

Can support this, they're wonderful little pets with the only real downside being that they live very short lives which, combined with their big personalities makes losing them very hard. Still, I found owning them to be more fulfilling than having a hamster or gerbil, since those you largely just watch exist whereas rats want your attention, can learn tricks, and really are like tiny little dogs.

I can also attest to their inability to fall, though this usually results in having lots of little scratches all over your arms as they cling onto you for dear life.
