Huh. What's your evidence they look for people who can set aside their party affiliation and view an issue without bias? It looks from Holan's comments as though they look for experienced journalists, which will tend to offer a hiring buffet skewed left. Who judges who sets aside bias and how do they execute that judgment?

Is there any objective difference between the two ratings? An objective measure of "ridiculous"?
