I have known of a few others whom use sorghum as well with great success. Have you ever heard of/or worked with Kenaf? We have a farm(sproutevolution.com)out in Kentucky and have been growing special varieties of Kenaf for years. Some varieties grow up to 18-20ft tall in 3 to 4 months but also send down a 6 ft tap root which upwells nutrients making it very ideal for rotation.

Do you use a specific type of rotational crop every few seasons to recondition your land? Also, are there any types of experimental crops that you are using or wanting to dabble in?
