This really isn't any different than in many small communities. People want to complain about the politics/corruption in Washington, or at the national level, but they've never dealt with local politics/corruption if they think national politics are bad.

How do you feel about the current Congress and whether they are fulfilling the role as a check on the current executive branch?

On purpose, just like the IRS and USPS. A certain political party has made it a point to underfund government entities so they can point to their failure as evidence that more things should be privatized.

Considering he was also the father of your wife and the reason you two met, I think you've got a great chance at her OK'ing the idea. Also, grats on everything.

Should be pretty easy to figure out, not a whole lot of black people in Minnesota.
