I know a lot of questions about the vaccine have already been asked.
But say a vaccine is confirmed to protect against COVID-19, is there a chance that there exists a long term effect on humans, using this vaccine, that is even worse than COVID-19 itself?
And in case it does (which I believe, since no test can cover all possible outcomes and thus cannot prove the absence of this kind of effect) is this risk for the COVID-19 vaccine higher than for common vaccines because of the shorter authorisation procedure?
Without being selfish, would it not be better to wait until, let's say a year after the release, before you take the vaccine yourself (if you can afford it i.e. if you are currently not at high risk) to see how the real outcome is?
