You were a hell of an influence on me as a young developing singer. I went through several phases where I imitated one singer or another while I was trying to find my own style. You were the first in that line of singers.

How do/did you keep your voice from completely blowing out singing the way you do/did on the first SOAD album. That style of singing is insanely hard on the vocal cords.

I work on an inpatient adult psych unit. I don't think I could ever do geropsych because for most of them there will be no getting better. You're doing something that takes a lot of wherewithal.
