Hey, my grandfather had kidney failure and had to undergo a lot of dialysis. Do you have to do any of that? I'm sorry to hear about your predicament. How likely is it that you'll get the kidneys?

This is so amazing! I've been wanting to do medical missions as a premed as well, what organization did you go with? Were you able to do much or mostly shadow?

Medicine is getting there. All the best wishes for you and your son! A friend of mine also has CF, and even though hers is pretty severe, she leads a relatively normal life. There's hope! Thanks for the AMA :)

Hi! Thanks so much for doing this AMA. We have friends working on the borders helping out refugees as well. I've been wondering, is there any specific need by the border/ in Syria medically? Have many people been injured, or what exactly is the situation?
