Currently I'm capable of eating for one on this budget with basics like potatoes, salt, pepper, olive oil, shredded cheese, and salsa and some basic soup ingredients. NYC water is drinkable. I just wonder if a nutrition expert could create a solution for low income households. It's not something I've seen anywhere, but I have seen piles of suggestions for systems that cost a lot. I feel like healthy looking people are more likely to feel good about themselves, have the confidence to make income related increases, and overall work on self improvement. I don't know. Just a thought.

Any suggestions for maintaining personal nutritional health on a budget of $20 a week in NYC?

Like dry beans, Lentils can be great if prepared properly; just make sure you soak them long enough or they'll cause you some discomfort.

It is my hope that within the next five years I'll be able to buy a robot butler to help out around the garage/workshop/house and also gain access to modular replacement parts for said butler robots. Basically, are we going to get an appliance or will we be forced to treat the robot like a friend? I just need a couple robot interns; not Bobby, your best friend butler.
