Good choice in bringing in Bear McCreary David - so often music gets overlooked and is more of an "afterthought". By having Bear aboard, you guys have helped breathe a special spark of life in to the mix...literally!

Was Bear your first and only choice? If not, who else were you considering? - Paddy

PS: LOVE the show! Congratulations on getting that second season! (If what I have heard is true!)

Wow, Clint would have been a good choice too! But I have to say, Bear is the perfect mix for this show. I was utterly captivated from the off, and I mentioned to someone the next day that this is one of those shows that comes along rarely: you know that perfect synchronicity of talent, script, music, production value and the present time? Much like Lost, BSG, The West Wing, I truly believe this will be regarded alongside those classic shows too.

I've just pre-ordered the Blu Ray too by the way - you guys have my support all the way. Warm wishes from England, and thanks for taking the time to answer my question.

Hi Mary. First of all, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you.

My Father passed on in January 2010 from lung cancer, and as strange as this may sound in this mini textual soundbite, BSG helped my Mother in some unquantifiable way thru her grieving process. I decided to introduce her to the show a few months after he passed on not only as a way of bonding, but as a way of enabling her to "switch off" from her grief for an hour each night. It really helped, so thank you for holding her hand and helping her move on, it meant a lot - I just needed to tell you that whilst I had the opportunity to do so.

Finally, my question is, what was the one physical item of Laura Roslin's that you took from the set as a memento of your time on the show?

Namaste! Paddy x [England]
