Is there any evidence that children with RSV or childhood asthma would be considered high risk?

Thank you for responding. I've been unable to find anything concrete on it. I know everything is new and science takes time. I am reassured by the overall very low fatality rates for young children.

We are scheduled to consult with our pediatrician in the next two weeks as my son is turning four. Not planning on taking him in for the annual though.

He fits that description though. He had RSV in his first year and was unable to shake it. Nearly had to be hospitalized a couple times because his oxygen levels dropped. Every cold since then until this year brought back the deep lung coughs. This year he is a bit bigger and stronger so normal colds haven't driven him down so much, but with the covid, I've been treating him and this house as if he is high risk.

I'm not sure I want him going back to daycare when this all opens up again.
