What do you think about Sacha Lord's exclusivity agreements for artists playing at Warehouse Project in Manchester?

It's really killing the scene in Manchester as many top artists aren't allowed to play at events that aren't run by WHP.

Don't get me wrong, their events are absolutely fantastic (went to WHP 11 weeks out of 12 in 2016, your set at Paradise was wonderful) but it really dries up the city in terms of having any big events at other venues throughout the year.

Thanks for your answer mate!

Agreed. It's really monopolised what was once a great scene in Manchester, Sacha Lord hides behind the idea that he loves Manchester and it's for the people but once you see that the WHP brand is just an absolute cash cow it really is a awful.

Not going to lie, I go to most of their events but that isn't because I love the WHP brand it's simply that there isn't much choice anymore. Obviously I'm not helping by putting money into WHP but I just wish there was an alternative.

Sankeys closing down was another big blow. Supposedly as the landlord wanted to sell Beehive Mill but I'm fairly sure if Sankeys was still pulling in big name DJs and making a decent profit it would have been able to continue operating.
