Hi Anna, will you be interested in doing an AMA with /r/asianamerican sometime in the future?

Also, I forgot a question for John:

You often take roles that weren't originally meant to go to Asian actors, so occasionally your characters have non-Asian surnames. When trying to portray these type of characters, do you ever wonder or work out why these characters don't have Asian surnames. For example, did he take on his wife's name? his stepfather's? Did his parents Anglicize it?, etc. Or is this something you don't really think about? If it does, does this ever affect or change your performance?

Hey guys, thanks for doing this AMA

This is mainly for Justin: I'm a big fan of Better Luck Tomorrow and we all know that the film was loosely based off of Stuart Tay's murder in the early 90's

I have a few questions about that:

  • Firstly, was there anything in particular about that case that influenced you the most while making BLT?

  • Secondly, do you think there are any big takeaways from the case in general, especially from an Asian American perspective?

  • Also, what happens after the credits roll? I've been dying to know for years
