We now have [...]

In 1979 we had Lt. Ellen Ripley, a military officer who defeated a rampaging alien menace.

In 1984 we had Sarah Connor, who defeated a time travelling robot and saved all of mankind from being exterminated.

In 1998 we had Mulan, who singlehandedly saved the Emperor and all of China from the mongol horde.

In 2003 we had Beatrix Kiddo who avenged the deaths of her friends, fiancé and unborn child at the hands of a team of professional assassins.

Female role models in movies are nothing new, and acting like they are is a deliberate misrepresentation of reality.

How can he be allowed to just not answer like that?

Because the people giving him money are the same people giving "campaign contributions" to the rest of the people at the hearing.

No one there is going to do anything about it, because they're all getting paid.

... Then don't make a post with "I Parachute Into Disaster Zones" in the title.

If you ever need a different job, I'm sure Buzzfeed would hire you, what with your skill in writing bullshit clickbait titles.

I agree with splitting it up more and giving breaks and such.

The actors don't want that because apparently

KF: Two two-hour sessions is destroying an actor's voice twice.

Because that logic makes sense.

The tuition might be free, but a 43 year old with two kids and a mortage can't exactly just up and leave his factory job for four years to get a degree. Reality gets in the way of flowery bullshit like your suggestion.
