Do you honestly feel like you put your life on the line every day? (like are always making split second life or death decisions)
The reason I ask is because I hate it when cops use this as a defense when they mess up and do something bad and all they say is "You don't understand we make life and death decisions everyday" I find that hard to believe. I am not saying it doesn't happen but I think it is a lot rarer-er than cops are making it out to be.

Doesn't really answer my question...Truck drivers drive a lot doesn't mean that they feel like they make life or death split second decisions. Mall security have to deal with shit all the time doesn't mean that they are laying their life on the line. I want to know does /u/iamabadgecarrier feel that every time he puts on his uniform that it can no shit be his last because he is in constant danger making no shit split second life or death decisions.

I've been in for 10 years and never invested in TSP...Is it too late to start? Or should I go ahead and put some money in TSP?
