Thanks for your insight! Just regarding that last comment - I've long wondered who would have a more diverse range of staff; the parties that lean towards support for multiculturalism, or the ones trying to make it seem as though they care about issues facing minority groups

Party advisors stay with their party, the civil service work with whoever is in power
