When you were 21, how did you imagine your life would turn out to be?

How are these boys being fed? Are they getting any medical treatment & how?

This happened to me at a POTS conference, standing in line to speak to the session presenter. The woman in front of me had a service dog for her severe POTS (and was in a wheelchair). Her dog kept turning back to look at me and stepping in my direction. Finally since we weren't going anywhere I figured he might be "off duty" for a moment, so I asked if it would be ok if I petted him because he wanted to come to me. She took one look at him and said, "He's signalling you to sit down. Are you feeling little wobbly?" It had been so slight a feeling that I'd ignored it like usual (classic POTSie pushing through symptoms), but the dog was right: standing there in heels waiting was starting to get to me, even with mild POTS. I had no idea a service dog could detect something even I could barely notice! I became a grateful, impressed fan that very moment!

So this IS a thing! Thanks for the confirmation.

How far has the science/art come since then? How close are we to not realizing it's not an actual animal's movement?
