Hi there! It sounds like such a wonderful and meaningful life. Do you feel connected to the world around you, or is the different way you live also a barrier? How did you get into (older) classical music? Did your parents enjoy that type of thing too? And do you perform with other (period) instruments?

I've always felt that the more we sublimate (the further we are from directly fulfilling what our instincts demand of us like food and shelter), the less meaning a job gives. Being close to and directly involved must give such purpose to daily activities.

The blog is why I asked about intellectual challenge. Your writing is very nice to read, and well thought out. It might be weird, but I'm happy you're happy.
