What makes conservative Americans especially indispensable over those of us who are critical of capitalism as a whole?

The American people are, generally speaking, idiots. But they are in no way more damaging than our fearless leaders and the corporations and lobbyists who've bought them.

Restabilize the system in order to protect to climate? Try to maintain the system in order to protect the climate?

If we cause irreparable damage to our financial and social systems in an attempt to save the environment, fuckin ... 2 birds 1 stone. Conservative (see:reactionary, regressive) solutions to problems either caused or exacerbated by conservatism seems like an oxymoron to me...

So those who politically work to protect the status quo at the cost of everyone else are the ones to affect change?

Thank god you're not a congressman anymore. For shame.
