Yes, we rely on information passed on to us by animal lovers, informers who work for us on our anti poaching unit and forest department who alert us to such incidents. We welcome information being reported on [email protected]

You too. Also dont buy a weapon even though you will be tempted to take things into your own hands.

Yes, the animals we rescue often have serious trust issues. It takes a long time and a lot of patience to rebuild the trust with these animals. Quite often it means we have to be very careful with our tones and behave very cautiously in the presence of these animals who have been traumatised so they disassociate their past trauma with their present situation and current environment. It is however easier said than done! You can read some of our rescue stories on www.wildlifesos.org and on www.facebook.com/wildlifesosindia

Amber Fort in Jaipur is a hell hole for elephants. The elephants are very badly treated and Wildlife SOS plans to start some serious intervention there as well. We want to start a mobile elephant clinic and other interventions to monitor the health and the welfare of the elephants here. Sadly everything to do with elephants requires large amounts of funds and this is the only thing preventing us from moving forward in this direction faster!
