You need to tell all the Democrats in the country to stand up and say what you just said here. IF they would all show this kind of conviction and, lets be honest, cojones, we'd see a whole lot more of your party on the national stage.

Pretty much anything is (or can be) an interest group: your neighborhood, your town, your city, your state, your region, your workplace, your employment sector, your age and racial demographic... any category you could possibly be can be an interest group. The problem isn't interest groups. The problem is that certain interest groups of extreme minorities wield power that is wildly disproportionate to the the numbers of people they represent.
