I saw the title, and came in prepared for the usual drivel from politicians that have AMA's (with 1000 poignant questions and a dozen off topic, flippant answers) about needing to mandate more affordable housing, more zoning regs etc etc.

I am pleasantly surprised. Very pleasantly surprised.

Not a dumb question at all, this is the crux of the issue. Even he acknowledges that the average police response time exceeds the average length of a mass shooting.

He is selling a product that will make him money, violate everyone's privacy (old news, every other corporation is doing the same anyway), cost taxpayers money, and provide the same basic after action images that normal security cams will.

He's presenting his completely irrelevant personal background to make it seem more legitimate, despite the fact that his copying of his CAC card is a violation of both UCMJ (should understand that after 9 years served), the personal information security training he had to go through while serving, and, most importantly, basic common sense.

You working with military engineers/sappers/rcp's or is your organization independent? What sort of equipment do you use for detection and clearance?

No, the problem will be false hits and complete misses.

Even if it worked well, the liability involved in this is untenable.

Can you imagine the false hit rate of this in an area where there is legal concealed carry? ASSuming, of course, that it worked even remotely well at detecting the shape of a concealed weapon?
