As a Forest Service employee, I wish you would say this publicly at some point. We know what we need to do, but we’re are annually being asked to “do more with less”. Defunding has turned us into a reactive organization when we need to be a proactive one.

Holy shit. My college professor just included you in a lesson less than 20 minutes ago. She was talking about the Aisha Harris article regarding the memes made of black interviewees and their relationship to our less than exemplary histories such as the minstrel show.

Have you heard of this? Do you have an opinion on it?

I guess I don't have a question, just something I have wanted to say to you. I really appreciate the way that you handled the "explanatory" post about the fappening and the shitstorm of comments that followed. I was going to PM you but I figured you were being buried in messages. You handled that completely professionally. It was impressive. Cheers.

So I guess that does lead to a question. Is your job really so great that it outweighs the avalanche of negative bullshit you get from the people you are essentially working to please?
