We did the same in Canada with a fishing resort It is a different life that you can't equate with money As long as its equitable it's worth it. Waking up by a lake everyday meeting new people and serving them. Seeing them smile and hug you good bye is worth every cent There are days when I'm so busy I forget the lake is behind me. But I wouldn't trade it for the world I always joke that I get 20 dollars a week to go too town for coffee and pick up supplies now compared to when I was a contractor huge cut in pay. But I have everything I want.
