I think they mean that, because they never had many friends, they don’t have the same experience in social situations as others their age.

I would assume that's what it is. Where I live, if a big group of ants moves through an area you see a big decline in animals that have babies in the grass (deer, rabbits, etc).

True, but if the limbs really could be that much better, putting a suit on instead would be like getting a phone case rather then buying a tougher phone. Of course this assumes that the surgeries would be much safer than they currently are.
