Mr. Greenwald, how aggressive do you feel the surveillance by the Feds is on you? Have you caught them in their efforts?

Is the job and responsibility of a true journalist to report the facts and allow the reader/viewer to make an informed decision or do you believe in pushing a message & agenda?

No surprise. I presume you're utilizing appropriate counter measures.

There you're making a fallacious assumption on my politics (Independent, having voted for Clinton, Bush, Obama, etc.), my education (BS in Chem. E., MS in Physics and MBA in Finance/Statistics) and my income (top 1%), my status (I've served), etc. Your confirmation bias and bias in general are duly noted. I asked a legitimate question. You inferred, based upon your own biases, what you presumed to be my meaning. Try again. I'm fact and data driven, period. Climate change is a scientific fact. The numbers of illegal aliens crossing the borders claiming asylum with no legal basis (under the 1980 Refugee Act) is alarming (and out of control) and approximately 10% of their asylum requests are granted (as only religious, political and racial persecution qualify under the act) with over 1MM illegal aliens in the US who have exhausted their administrative and legal remedies and have been ordered to self-deport and refuse to, and they will be deported by the ICE (as they should be and it's inevitable) and this entire situation is the fault of both parties in Congress. I donate to the ACLU, Planned Parenthood and am an NRA member. I hunt. The earth is approximately 4.5 billion years old and evolution is a scientific fact, Etc. People don't fit into a nice box you can classify them into. Nuance & gray area are the norm.

I suggest you listen/read to this, as it's accurate:

"I’m terribly concerned that when you talk about the New York Times these days, when you talk about the Washington Post these days, we’re not talking about the New York Times of 50 years ago. We are not talking about the Washington Post of 50 years ago. We’re talking about organizations that I believe have, in fact, decided as organizations that Donald J. Trump is bad for the United States."

"We have things appearing on the front page of the New York Times right now that never would have appeared 50 years ago. Analysis, commentary on the front page. I remember sitting at the breakfast table with my wife during the campaign after the Access Hollywood tape came out and the New York Times, and I will not offend any of you here by using the language but you know exactly what words were used and they were spelled out on the front page of the New York Times."

Koppel, by an measure is a true journalist. Try being one and not pushing an agenda and message. Push facts, not ideology. Smart people, like me, are goddamn sick of it. Just present and stick to the facts and push back, with facts, on misinformation. We'll do the rest. We don't need your "interpretation", bias, agenda or to direct us. Koppel is right.
