Its not clear at all that I hate weed, I asked questions, didnt make accusations and used an example of something that is currently illegal and the carrying out of which is harming others.

Note how I said "it would appear" and "would you agree" because I'm trying to clarify a position.

The whole point of an AMA is literally in the title. If you want to circle jerk about how amazing weed is then r/weed is the place to go.

You don't know me and I don't know you so lets not get into that. My response to the person above highlights in more detail that im not accusing you I'm just asking questions.

To clarify I dont hate weed nor think you're a bad person but I do want to challenge some of the positions you may hold.

I agree with your point about the manufacture of the goods (although it would seem you're missing the point about CGI)

You didn't answer my original question though so again:

are you saying that anyone who buys something that is illegal has no responsibility to the result of purchasing that item because the thing that fuels violence/problems (in a similar manner to illegal weed) is because it is illegal and thus law makers are to blame?

Examples of said illegal items include: illegal firearms, heroin, crack, prostitution, fake branded clothing and bootleg liquor

I understand your point of view, but just because you didn't choose for something to be illegal does not make devoid you of any and all responsibility for the actions caused by your continual purchasing of a product.

So this is the situation:

• The purchase of drugs which are illegal fuels drugs violence.
• I many countries the likelihood of drugs being legalised is non-existent
• With this in mind the only choice someone who wants to get high is to buy illegally in the full knowledge that their purchase is feeding drugs gangs and drugs violence.

Therefore they have to accept some responsibility.

Do you hold any resentment to the consumers who choose to continue to purchase these products in the knowledge that they are fueling said war?
